Programme: We will depart from the HICC at 1330 hrs in batches in air-conditioned coaches with experienced tour guides. We hope to arrive at the Golconda Fort by 1415 to 1430 hrs and will spend the next hour and a half exploring the ruins of this 400-year old fort and its palaces. You can experience its amazing acoustics and learn about its amazing water-supply and ventilation systems. Those who wish to climb to the Bala Hisar Pavilion at the highest point situated 1 Km away, should be prepared to climb the 360 odd steps, but will be rewarded by panoramic views of the city. For those who do not wish to undertake this feat, and for those with mobility restrictions, there is enough to see and hear in the lower pavilions.
From Golconda, we will drive to the Charminar area (approximately one hour) and see many parts of Hyderabad en-route. From around 1630 hrs to 1830 hrs, we shall explore the shopping delights and bustling by-lanes of Laad Bazaar, and the Night Market, as well as explore the stunning Chowmahalla palace.
The tour ends here for those who do not wish to stay on for the Sufi -Night and Dinner at the Chowmahalla Palace, and you will be dropped to your hotels.
