The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad is about 22 km southwest of the city and is approximately a 30 minutes' drive to the Colloquium venue – HICC; and about 45 minutes  to the Colloquium Hotels.

Getting to the City from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport

There are numerous options to get to Hyderabad and the Colloquium Hotels, or other accommodation that you may have chosen, from Hyderabad Airport no matter what time your International or Domestic flight arrives, and at any time of day or night.

Radio Taxis

There are two radio taxi operators licensed by the State Government that provide  air-conditioned, metered, cab service that are available round the clock for travellers arriving at RGIA. They offer efficient, clean and fast services to destinations in and outside Hyderabad. 

Note: Radio taxi cannot be pre-booked from the Airport by overseas or domestic travellers. 

The current approved fare is INR 21 per km (Minimum INR 20 per km for the first 2 Km travelled). Waiting charges @ INR 1 per minute; and a 25% night surcharge are applicable between 2300 hours to 0500 hours (please check the websites of the operators for any variations or revisions).

Radio Taxis can be availed at the pick-up point situated at the car park level, below the arrivals concourse.

Colloquium Travel Desk

For those who wish to book their airport transfers in advance, Royal Travels will set up a travel desk outside and opposite the International and Domestic arrival entrances in the counter marked Ramoji Film City. The counter will not have any Cochrane or Colloquium signage (to save costs) but the staff of Royal Travels will be easily identifiable by their South Asian Cochrane Network T-shirts and caps. They will direct you to the radio-taxi pick up point and offer you any other information you may need. They will also help with your airport transfers pre-booked with them.

Rates: Airport to Hotel drop to any hotel in the vicinity of and including Novotel HICC and the Colloquium Hotels in an air-conditioned sedan: INR 1200 (max: 3 adults)
