Description

Description:

Cochrane approved a comprehensive translation strategy in January 2014 with the aim of increasing our capacity to translate Cochrane content from English into other languages and thus to strengthen our impact in non-English speaking countries. More detail is available here: http://www.cochrane.org/community/development-projects/translation-strategy This meeting aims to present key components of the translation strategy, what we hope to achieve and how. We would like to engage with people who are interested in learning more, who have suggestions about what the translation strategy should focus on, and who would like to be involved in translation activities or generally activities related to non-English speaking contributors and audiences. For those who cannot attend this meeting, there will also be a special session presenting the progress of the translations strategy to date (time to be confirmed). Juliane Ried, Cochrane's Translation Co-ordinator, will also be available at the Cochrane Exchange and happy to meet and discuss with interested people there.
